Putting the Ha! into half term

I love all the themed events Centre for the Child put on – from Circus Stars and Inclusive Week, to Space Hop and Wizard Rock – but my absolute all-time number one favourite is GIGGLEFEST.  When it launched 3 years ago it was the first comedy festival for kids and it seems to be getting bigger and better every year.  It is so funny it should come with a health warning.  Last year I laughed so hard at the ‘crunchie bobbing’ round of the chocolate eating competition that I was actually in pain.  I was also lucky enough to get to record the noise of Patrick Monahan’s socks and compare sociology degrees with John Hegley.

Gigglefest is run by our very own Amanda Cadabra.  Here she is to personally invite you to the festival:

So – if you know a kid who likes to chuckle, chortle, titter, snigger or snort, then bring them to Gigglefest –where we’re putting the Ha! into half term.  Check out the full Gigglefest programme or read the Gigglefest blog.  They are also telling some very bad jokes on twitter – if you think you can do better then enter the make ‘em laugh jokes competition.
